Acadia Cove Cabin is located in a secluded wooded setting just steps from the shoreline of Somes Sound, the only fjord on the eastern coast of the United States. Located on the border of Acadia National Park, and right across Somes Sound from famous Sargent's Drive, this two bedroom ocean-front cabin commands beautiful views of the sound, a quiet, well-protected cove, and Norumbega and Acadia Mountains. From your deck, watch sailboats and lobsterman at close range, launch your own kayak from the private cove, and enjoy the stunning combination of woods, water and granite ledges.

This rustic, waterfront cabin consists of a main room, which is a living/kitchen/dining area combined. There are two bedrooms (one with a double bed and the other with a queen bed), and one bathroom with shower. A sleeper sofa and small loft provide extra sleeping (maximum of 5 people allowed). Looking directly over the water, a deck wraps around three sides of the house.

The cabin is accessed via a private gravel road in Hall Quarry, near the villages of Southwest Harbor and Somesville on Mount Desert Island. You will live in a rustic setting, away from intrusions of any kind, yet minutes from the major attractions of Mount Desert Island: Echo Lake, Beech Cliffs, Flying Mountain, Acadia Mountain, Bar Harbor, Northeast Harbor, Cadillac Mountain, and the Carriage Roads and Hiking Trails of Acadia National Park. Bring your canoe or kayak and wake up to the sounds of lapping water, and to the smell of spruce, cedar, pine, oak and maple trees.
